McLaren MP4-12C launches into production
Wed, 02 Feb 2011It's finally happening. Perhaps the most anticipated British sports car in at least a decade--the McLaren MP4-12C--has gone into production. McLaren announced the news on Wednesday, and as many as 1,000 copies of the potent speedster will be built this year.
GM delays innovative new diesel truck engine
Tue, 10 Mar 2009General Motors' deteriorating financial situation has caused the company to delay one of the most advanced engines that it has ever designed, a 4.5-liter diesel for light-duty trucks. "We have to make tough decisions right now," GM Powertrain spokeswoman Susan Garavaglia said. Truck enthusiasts were eagerly awaiting the engine, which would have started production next fall at GM's plant in Tonawanda, N.Y.

We’re now getting close to the first major European Motor Show of the year – some would say the most important motor show of the lot – the Geneva Motor Show which kicks off for the press on 2nd March and runs until 14th March.
