Volvo C30 & C70 – UK Prices & Specs announced
Mon, 05 Oct 2009Price and model details for the 2010 Volvo C30 and C70 have been released. C30 prices in the UK start at £14,495 with four trim levels on offer – S, SE, SE Lux and R-DESIGN – and six engine options, from the C30 eDrive that emits just 99g/km up to the turbo T5 with 225bhp. Standard kit on the S includes Climate Control, CD with AUX input, DSTC and 16″ alloys.
Volvo S60 saloon (2010) unveiled
Tue, 10 Nov 2009This is the new Volvo S60, and it’s the latest attempt by the Swedish safety-mongers to snatch a share of the small executive saloon market that’s dominated by the 3-series, A4 and C-class. Volvo has only released two exterior photos of the new S60 – we’ll see the interior closer to the car’s Geneva motor show unveil in March 2010 – as it wants to highlight the new car’s design. Under now-departed design chief Steve Mattin, the S60 has been created as the car that will start the differentiation of Volvo design and break the one-size-fits-all focus.

Last spring saw the Aston Martin V12 Zagato – spiritual successor to the Aston Martin DB4GT Zagato – arrive at Villa D’Este, looking every bit as good as you would expect an Aston Martin by Zagato to look. There were doubts expressed about whether the v12 Zagato would go in to production – at least publicly – but it was always clear that the V12 Zagato was Aston Martin['s next halo car, following on from the even more extreme (certainly cost-wise) Aston Martin One-77.
