New Audi A8 Hybrid at Frankfurt – on sale in 2012

2012 Audi A8 Hybrid arrives at Frankfurt Audi turned up at the Geneva Motor Show in 2012 – just a few months after the launch of the New A8 – with a fully-featured concept of an Audi A8 Hybrid. At the time we expected them to roll out the A8 with hybrid gubbins by the end of 201, but that didn’t happen. Now, Audi are bringing the A8 Hybrid to the Frankfurt Motor Show next month in full production guise, ready to go on sale in 2012.

Our friends at Bring a Trailer are offering a gorgeous unrestored 1960 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint Normale. The 65,000-mile California car is claimed to be “one of the most original 101-series Giulietta Sprints in existence today with all-original interior, mostly original paint, perfect gauges, factory engine-compartment components, no accidents, and straight chrome and trim.” Curiously, the engine and transmission were removed and rebuilt in 1975 but were never reinstalled. Drivers make New Year Resolutions

MORE THAN half of British drivers have made a New Year’s Resolution, with many promising to drive more courteously or more economically. A survey by motoring organisation the AA found that 14% of drivers will make the effort to drive for greater economy, while 11% said they would walk more to save fuel. A further 6% are aiming to drive less and 5% want to cycle more to cut down on car use.
