Wed, 20 Nov 2013The Porsche Macan (pictured) has been revealed in LA The Porsche Macan has been revealed at the Los Angeles Auto Show, although Porsche’s endless teases for the baby Cayenne mean we already know much of what’s on offer in the Cayenne. The styling is very much ‘Baby Cayenne’, and no one is going to think the Macan is anything other than a smaller Porsche SUV with its very familiar looks. The Macan is smaller than the Cayenne – 146mm shorter and 16mm narrower – but it is bigger than the Audi Q5 on which it’s based (70mm longer and 24mm wider – lower too by 30mm).

The Celerio offers more space than bothy the Alto and Splash – Suzuki’s current offerings in the A-Segment – and is expected to cost much the same as the Alto when it arrives in the UK in early 2015. Which means the new Celerio is probably the replacement for both the Splash and Alto, and Suzuki are trumpeting it a ‘pocket-friendly’ car.
Few cars perform well in new insurance group crash test

The first batch of 11 luxury and near-luxury cars put to the test by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety didn't fare so well--only three were rated as good or acceptable. The test rams the front corner of a car into a fixed barrier at 40 mph.
