Italdesign Giugiaro Parcour Concept: Geneva Motor Show

ItalDesign Giugiaro – owned by Volkswagen – has created a compact SUV crossover – the Italdesign Giugiaro Parcour Concept – based on Lamborghini underpinnings. The Giugiaro Parcour – named after the odd French habit of bouncing off buildings – has been developed as both a coupe and a roadster (you can see both in the pictures above) and uses the potent 542bhp 5.2 litre V10 from the Lamborghini Gallardo as well as a Lambo 4WD system to create what ItalDesign say is a blend of crossover, SUV, sports car and GT. Brands Hatch Revs Up For Porsche Festival

PORSCHE fans will have a good reason to visit Brands hatch next month, as Porsche Club GB will host a new festival event at the Kent circuit on 21 September. Organised by circuit owner MSV in association with Porsche Club GB and supported by Porsche Cars GB, this will be the Club’s premier national event for 2014. In addition to a variety of on-track action, the venue is expected to be surrounded by all types and ages of Porsche, from the 356 of the 1950s to the very latest plug-in hybrid 918 Spyder super sportscar.

BMW ConnectedDrive concept

BMW will show the all-new ConnectedDrive concept at the forthcoming Geneva motor show. A pure design study, the concept is said to explore the possibilities of interconnectivity and 'revolutionize driving in terms of comfort, infotainment and safety'. Though the teaser video to the left leaves many questions unanswered, the company is claiming it is 'setting the course for the future'.
