Description : For auction is a brand new OBX BLUE aluminum alternator and water pump pulley for the Mazda RX8 that fits the years of 04-08. This will work on both manual and automatic transmission cars. Combined together, the weight of these two pullies is approximately 1.5 pounds. The stock pullies weight a little under 3 pounds. With these installed, rotating mass is reduced and power is gained back instead of wasted on turning heavier pullies. While these are direct replacements over the stock pieces, no new belts are included for installation. You will need to reuse your stock belt or souce new ones from your local auto parts store. We also have these in red and polished silver colors if blue is not to your liking. Please email us if you are unable to find those colors on auction. Mazda's aim this time was to strip away much of the bulk that had accumulated over the years, recapturing the essence of a compact, light and affordable roadster. The subtext is that the MX-5 Miata has become a car more often bought by women in their 60s, rather than the young males it was originally intended for.

The Ford Focus Coupe 2012 - The Capri returns Back in May 2009 we ran a story on the return of the Ford Capri which we believed would be based on the 2011 Ford Focus and bring the coupe back in to Ford’s line-up for the first time in too long. And it looks like the story was bang on the money. The new Ford Capri – which looks like it will be badged the Ford Focus Coupe – will be the new Ford Focus three-door; a hot coupe to take on cars like the VW Scirocco.

When a pair of 1965 Ford Mustangs served as pace cars for the 1964 Indianapolis 500, the car -- which had made its debut just a few weeks before -- was kicking off an exciting motorsports career that continues to this day. In the April 25, 1964, issue of Competition Press and Autoweek, we shared news (relayed to us by none other than Lee Iacocca) of the Mustang's racing ambitions. At the time, the competition schedule included the Midnight Sun road rally in Sweden, the Alpine rally in France and Spa-Sofia-Liege rally, which ran between Belgium and Yugoslavia.
