Jaguar F-Type stars in Lana Del Rey’s Burning Desire video
Thu, 14 Feb 2013The new Jaguar F-Type has a starring role in the new Burning Desire video from Lana Del Rey, Jaguar’s F-Type ‘Ambassador’. Last summer, as the new Jaguar F-Type stared to garner headlines, Jaguar announced that they were signing up the talented Lana Del Rey to help promote the new F-Type, imbuing their new sports car with a bit of cool in the process. And Ms Del Rey was a clever choice; just like the F-Type she manages to be very ‘now’ yet still manages to evoke the cool of the past without relying on that to define herself.
First Audi show car overseen by Marc Lichte to debut at LA Auto Show
Wed, 15 Oct 2014Audi has confirmed that the first show car to be overseen by its new head of design, Marc Lichte, will be unveiled at the Los Angeles Motor Show. Audi hasn't confirmed the exact time of the car's big reveal, but its press conference is scheduled for 9:00am on 19 November. The news was accompanied by an official teaser image, which doesn't reveal a great deal about the new car, aside from the fact that it seems to be a large sedan or shooting brake.

Power survey in the UK saw Lexus winning out, but it’s a different story on the other side of the Pond, where Jaguar have come top of the crop for the Luxury Sector followed by Cadillac, with Lexus, Mercedes and Land Rover filling up the top five. So the Brits (well, Indians) have taken two of the top five slots in what is probably the most influential car ownership survey around.
