Fiat Bravo MSN launched
Tue, 16 Jun 2009The Fiat Bravo MSN has been launched to coincide with the Bravo Tour Charity Event Which all brings to mind that famous quote by Bill Gates – “If GM had kept up with technology like the computer industry has, we would all be driving $25 cars that got 1000 MPG” Which in turn brought a response from GM, which took exception to Bill’s statement, and issued a press release countering his assertion, which is worth the read in full: If GM had kept up with technology like the Computer Industry has, then: 1. Fiat 500C Prices announced – and the UK gets it first!
Fri, 27 Mar 2009Fiat has announced UK Car Prices for the 500C - and the UK is the first in Europe to get the 500C [ad#ad-1] Fiat, on something of a roll at the moment, revealed the latest version of the terrific Fiat 500 – the convertible Fiat 500C – at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this month, and has now revealed prices for the UK. The Fiat 500C will be on the roads by the Summer in the UK – ahead of anywhere in Europe, including Italy – and will no doubt prove to be as successful as its tin-topped siblings. Starting point for the 500C is £11,300, rising to £14,100 for the high-spec ‘Lounge’ version.
Concept Car of the Week: Chevrolet Express (1987)
Fri, 25 Jan 2013A fantastic selection of concept cars from the ‘80s were featured in Back to the Future II such as the Pontiac Pursuit, the Ford Probe or the Saab EV-1, but my personal favorite was the Chevrolet Express that almost ran over Marty upon his arrival in the year 2015. Before being a movie extra, the Express was presented in 1987 as another attempt from GM to adapt aircraft engineering to automotive requirements. GM had been experimenting with gas turbines for more than 20 years, dating back to the 370hp XP-21 Firebird from 1954, but that concept was quite primitive compared to its younger brother.
