Condition:New

Up for bid is a set of MBT, Bantam T3 or Converto T6 trailer safety chains.  These are new reproductions that I made.  I put every effort into them to make them look like the originals.  The hooks are made of 1/2 inch plate steel cut and worked down to look like the original hooks, the chains also have a lone link on each end one by the anchor and one by the hook as did the originals, these longer links are the same size as the originals, their also is 9 links between these two longer links in the same size as the originals, They as you can see have the stamped TP-2 and the TH on the hooks as the originals.  I believe that these are the closest to the originals as any of the reproductions on the market today.  Please email with any questions.  Thanks for looking.

Hyundai move from Baboons to Kids to test quality

Fri, 05 Jul 2013

Hyundai let a troop of 4 & 5 year olds loose on an i30 to test quality Last year, Hyundai let a troop of 40 safari park baboons loose on an i30 to see if, left to their own devices, they could trash Hyundai’s very well bolted together (just ask Martin Winterkorn) i30. It was a clever way to demonstrate that the i30 doesn’t just look good, but is made of a bit more than recycled baked bean cans and Fairy liquid bottles. The i30 came through the baboon test with flying colours (even the company tasked with cleaning it up after the baboons commented on the story that they were impressed by how unscathed the i30 was), but Hyundai has now come up with a quality test that makes the baboon adventure look like a walk in the (safari) park.
