Range Rover Sport ploughs into basement flat
Tue, 25 Mar 2014This supercharged Range Rover Sport found itself stuck between a brick and a hard place when it crashed into a basement flat in Fitzrovia, central London. The driver, who was unhurt in this week's accident, unintentionally tested the Range Rover's off-road credentials in a freak incident, which left the 2.5-tonne SUV stuck between a house wall and some railings in the posh London street. The Auris Icon Plus comes with a new set of 16″ alloys, privacy glass, folding electric door mirrors and the option of a new Tungsten Blue Metallic. Inside, the Icon Plus gets heated front sports seats, the new Toyota Touch 2 with SatNav and cruise control (but only on the petrol and hybrid versions.
Designer Albrecht Graf Goertz dies
Thu, 09 Nov 2006One of the world's legendary designers, Albrecht Graf Goertz, has died aged 92. Goertz was best known for his work at BMW, though he also worked with Porsche, Nissan and Toyota during his career. His most acclaimed works are the BMW 503 and 507 models - but Goertz also had a hand in the design of the 1964 Silvia 1600 Sports Coupe.
