MCGARD 74049 SINGLE OUTBOARD MOTOR LOCK SET (5/16"-18 THREAD SIZE) MARINE BOAT

McGard single outboard motor lock set, part number 74049. Overall lock length: 0.750", Hex size: 5/8", Thread size 5/16'-18. Includes 1 lock, 1 key, 1 SS 5/16"-18 bolt, 2 washers and 1 thread lock adhesive.

McGard outboard motor locks are designed to lock the bolt that holds the outboard onto the transom of the boat. Simply replace one of the mounting nuts with a McGard locking nut. These outboard motor locks are fully machined from high quality stainless steel and are through-hardened. A free-spinning collar turns if attacked by gripping tools. Lock your motor for the winter!!!!

Fits most of the following outboard motors:

  • Honda 8-20 hp,
  • Johnson/Evinrude 6-30 hp,
  • Mercury/Mariner 8-25 hp,
  • Nissan 8-18 hp,
  • Suzuki 8-30 hp,
  • Tohatsu 8-18 hp,
  • Yamaha 8-25 hp (lock may fit some 2 strokes up to 30 hp, verify hole diameter).
  • Will fit other small outboards with a 5/16" hole in the transom bracket for mounting the motor (stainless steel bolt included in set).

The Audi Black Edition - available on A4 and A5 The whole ‘Black Edition’ thing is a big seller at the moment. We had Jaguar launch the Black Pack for the XKR a couple of months ago and yesterday slapped a Black Pack on the XF. And now Audi want to play with the announcement of an Audi A4 Black Edition and an Audi A5 Black Edition.

Coventry University MA Design Show 2007

Coventry University's MA Automotive Design Show, now in its fifteenth year, recently had its annual exhibition in Coventry's Transport Museum. Entitled 'InGenius', the exhibition presented work which covered a spectrum of vehicle concepts, including public transport systems. The projects were presented as scale models and digital animated presentations using CAD modeling tools.

Daimler considers building Mercedes C-class in U.S.

Daimler AG could move some production of the Mercedes-Benz C-class to the United States from Germany, a German newspaper reported Wednesday. The Stuttgarter Zeitung said some C-class production could be transferred to the carmaker's plant in Vance, Ala., from Sindelfingen, near Stuttgart, as part of a wider production shakeup planned by Daimler to reduce costs. In the future, the C-class sedan could be built in three locations: Bremen, Germany; Vance, Ala., and in China, the newspaper said.
