Barnacles and marine growth on a transducer is one of the major causes of poor depth sounder performance. MDR's Anti-Fouling Transducer Paint is formulated especially to resist barnacles and marine growth in fresh or salt water, thereby improving depth sounder performance. Transducer Paint is a water-based cuprous oxide, easy to use anti-fouling paint. The brush in the cap makes application easy on both transom and thru hull plastic or bronze transducers. No solvents to worry about. The water based formula will not attack the transducer face like some solvent based bottom paints. Easy clean-up too!

We reported last week on the VW BlueSport Concept, a relatively economical 2 seat roadster, which VW unveiled at the Detroit Motor Show. We said then that if we were VW we’d be pressing the start button as soon as possible, and reports seem to indicate that that is exactly what VW are hoping to do. The secret to the success of the BlueSport will be the ability of the VW Group as a whole to find three platforms within its setup that can produce viable models based on the BlueSport Concept.

The Top Gear Three Wise Men Cars are now on display at Beaulieu
That didn’t take long. Despite the Top Gear Christmas ‘Three Wise men’ Road trip only airing on the Beeb yesterday – and the whole Top Gear Iraq to Bethlehem episode only being filmed in October – it’s been revealed that the cars that starred in the Christmas Special have already found their way off to the World of Top Gear exhibition at Beaulieu. The whole ‘World of Top Gear’ at Beaulieu is a ‘must-see’ for the proper Top Gear anorak, with everything from a recreation of the Top Gear Studio – including the Cool Wall – to a collection of cars from some of Top Gear’s most ambitious challenges over the years.
