The
240SX/Silvia is an amazing platform in all it s generations. The
FR-Drive train and it s light weight offer a perfect balance between
speed and agility. Used in a wide range of motor sports such as drag,
drift, autocross, road race and even rally the 240SX has proven it s
worth time and time again.
Those who seek the most
from their car know that in the rigors of competition you need to
extract every ounce of performance from your machine. You need the
capability to have every degree of adjustment above and beyond that of a
street driven vehicle. You need the strength to withstands the stresses
and strains of hard corners, a rough course and brutal weight transfer
and chassis flex.
It s within this understanding that Megan
Racing has unveiled our line of reinforced suspension arms that offer
the strength and adjustment that any competition vehicle will ever need.
Constructed of high-strength steel alloys that offer durability,
strength and yet remain light-weight, these control arms have been track
tested for months in road race, autocross and drift events to assure
quality and performance.
These rear upper control arms available
for the S13 and S14 chassis are an excellent upgrade. With it s adjust
ability you are able to carefully tune the vehicle s Rear-Camber to your
specifications. The pillow-ball ends replace the stock rubber bushings
on the chassis and offers you a more direct and predictable feel that
you require in competition. With proper adjustment will allow the
adjustment of proper camber which can greatly effect tire wear and
performance. The adjust ability and feel is also backed with the comfort
that your stock thin tension rods are now replaced with thick steel
constructed arms that can withstand the stresses of competition.
Rear
upper control arms: Used to adjust static camber. The actual arc these
move in is the camber curve, but keep in mind that all of the rear arms
help determine this. They also help determine roll center, similar to a
double wishbone setup.

Bristol's 1012bhp Fighter (2006): first official pictures
Wed, 08 Nov 2006By Phil McNamara First Official Pictures 08 November 2006 09:37 Bristol today revals a new twin-turbocharged version of its Fighter supercar, claiming this T model will crack 0-60mph in less than 3.5sec and has a top speed limited to 225mph. The iconoclastic west London luxury car maker developed the T to satisfy customer demands for more performance. Not that the regular Fighter is a slouch: the 525bhp V10 coupe cracks 0-60mph in 4.0sec and surpasses 200mph.
Diesel hybrid cars avoid BIK penalty. Peugeot, Citroen & Volvo rejoice.
Fri, 18 Nov 2011Peugeot 3008 HYbrid4 is the first car to benefit from BIK rates on diesel hybrids As a company car driver the Inland Revenue gets its cut no matter what. With BIK rates set based on CO2 emissions and list price, it’s hard to find a way to beat the system. Even opting for a diesel car doesn’t help because, despite much better economy on the whole from diesels than petrol engined cars, HMRC adds an extra 3% to your BIK rate because diesels emit more of the stuff that matters – particulates and NOx – than a petrol-engined car.
