The unit offers simple wireless solution for Megasquirt ECUs. It plugs into the DB-9 Serial port of Megasquirt board and replaces the cable connection. Very easy to install and use in many cars; straight plug and play functionality.

Very reliable communication – no signal loss; in fact works better than many  USB to serial converters.

How to use:

  1. Plug device into Megasquirt Serial port and switch ignition on
  2. Scan for Bluetooth devices; the unit will appear as MEGASQUIRT1 or MEGASQUIRT2
  3. Pair with the device using passcode 1234
  4. Open msDroid or other application and set MEGASQUIRT* as the device used for communication


Compatibility:

  • MS1 (9600kbps) or MS2/MS3 (115200kbps)
  • Any Bluetooth device – Laptop, tablet or phone (running Android)
  • Works with Tunerstudio, msDroid,  MSLogger, ShadowDash, ShadowLogger

  • Includes on-board 3.3V regulated supply and voltage level shifting to provide high reliability

Note:
There are two versions of the module; one is set for Megasquirt 1 (9600kbps) and the other for Megasquirt 2 or 3 (115200kbps). It is not possible to use on in place of the other so, please make sure you let me know which one is needed.

Kia Sedona suits up for New York auto show

Kia teased its new Sedona minivan on Thursday, a week before it debuts at the New York auto show. We instantly noticed its new sheetmetal duds, which are a long way from the plain-Jane style of the old car. Information is scarce for now, but Kia did say the MPV (Multi-Purpose Vehicle) will ride on a new chassis powered by Kia's 3.3-liter direct-injected V6.
