Skoda Yeti ready to launch
Thu, 12 Feb 2009The Skoda Yeti open pick-up concept from 2005 Back in 2005, Skoda revealed a small, urban concept called the Skoda Yeti. Based on the then Golf platform, it was designed to be a non-aggressive, practical and fashion-conscience urban SUV. The original concept was shown at Geneva in 2005, with an updated concept, featuring an open pick-up, showing at Frankfurt later the same year.

Two months ago actually, but the new Hyundai i10 city car makes its official show debut at Bologna, and CAR was given access to the car the night before the show so we could have a proper poke round it. Hyundai officials also let slip that the Genesis saloon will be shown at the start of 2008 in Detroit, while the production Coupe will be previewed at the New York Motor Show in March 2008.
Lambo man flies in to revamp Bentley design

Luc Donckerwolke, the Belgian who has held official positions at Audi, Bentley, Skoda, VW and Lamborghini, and worked in the background shaping the rest of VW Group's brands, is now getting down to business at Crewe. 'They told me: "You have to go to Bentley, move the brand forward and create a new design studio",' Donckerwolke told CAR in his first conversation since starting there five months ago.
