This oil pump came from the parts room of a BOP GMC dealership that closed it's doors in 1959. It has been in my garage ever since. The outer box is trash but the pump has never been removed from it's greased celphane wrapping.

The Japanese firm has been at the forefront of hybrid technology in the modern era with its eco-focused Prius family hatchback, but has also brought petrol-electric propulsion systems to the fore in top line world motorsport with its TS030 Le Mans racer. Mazda Hazumi Concept previews new Mazda2 – teased for Geneva Motor Show
Fri, 21 Feb 2014The Mazda Hazumi Concept (pictured) teased ahead of Geneva Mazda are gearing up for the Geneva Motor Show next week with the first teaser image of the Mazda Hazumi Concept. The Hazumi Concept – which apparently means ‘Spring up’ or ‘bound’ (as in ‘bound around’ not ‘bound up’) – is the firts clear view of the next generation Mazda 2 featuring the latest iteration of Mazda’s Kodo design language and clearly takes design cues from the new Mazda3. We’ll get more details on the Hazumi/new Mazda2 as Geneva approaches, but we’re expecting it to spawn a production version of the next generation Mazda 2 that will go on sale before the end of 2014.

Just days after we finally got the MINI Coupe sans camouflage – and with a gazillion photos to go with it – MINI are already on to the next step of the marketing buzz – the MINI Coupe video. Actually, we had a choice fo two ways to go; either a pile of fairly dull bits in lowish resolution that came in without a soundtrack, or a buzzy little viral-aimed ‘MINI Coupe Adventure’.
