Aston Martin and Mercedes tie-up over Lagonda
Mon, 09 Mar 2009Probably the biggest surprise of the Geneva Motor Show was the arrival of the Lagonda Concept. Classic style for road-ready Beetle Dune
Tue, 24 Jun 2014A VERY special Volkswagen Beetle has hit the coastal roads of northern Germany, and it might just arrive in showrooms soon, too. The new Beetle Dune concept captures a little of the spirit of the classic version, with 50mm of extra ride height, big, bold wheels and a rear-mounted ski rack. It looks stunning on the move, where its broad-spoked 19-inch wheels look almost like solid discs of polished metal and the ski rack has the visual effect of an old-school Porsche 911-esque spoiler.
Jaguar sports hatch is inspired by R-D6 concept
Tue, 27 Oct 2009Jaguar plans to add a dramatically styled sports-hatch model to its lineup beginning in 2014. The R-D6 design, which had been considered an ill fit for the brand's traditional sedan/sports-car image, is now gaining support at the highest levels of the company as it forges an independent future under Indian owner Tata.
