Mercedes 170 Slk230 Slk320 Spare Tire Oem W123 Great For Grease Car Conversion on 2040-parts.com
Annapolis, Maryland, US
Up for auction is a spare tire removed from a 1999 Mercedes SLK. It's in good shape, having spent it's entire life in the trunk of a car... It has not been mounted on a car nor driven on. It's in GREAT shape and ready to drop into your Benz. I know a lof of the people who have done grease conversions in their W123s like these because they fit and take up less room in the trunk.

Ford Fiesta is the UK’s best-selling car of all time
Wed, 23 Jul 2014The Ford Fiesta – 1976-2014 – is now the UK’s best-selling car ever It’s fourteen years since the Ford Escort ended its 32 year run in Ford’s UK showrooms and, in the process, became the most popular car in the UK. But that ‘best-selling car of all time’ mantle has now passed to the Ford Fiesta. Ford has announced that total sales of the Ford Fiesta in the 37 years since it was revealed have now hit 4,115,000, with the Fiesta being the top-selling car in the supermini segment for 27 of those years and, as car buyers started downsizing (and the Fiesta got bigger), it has become the best selling car in the UK bar none since 2009.

Motor industry backs EU membership
Thu, 03 Apr 2014MOTOR MANUFACTURERS have given strong backing for the UK staying in the European Union, citing benefits including business links and free movement of labour. A survey by the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) showed that 92% of automotive firms believed that staying in the EU would be best for their business, although most wanted to see reforms. The SMMT said its study showed how EU membership benefited the industry, such as access to a single market and funding for research and development.
