Mercedes 1981 380sl, 1982 380sel Oem Distributor # 0237405021 on 2040-parts.com
Los Angeles, California, US
This is a working Mercedes Benz distributor for an 81 380SL or 82 380SEL. It came out of my1985 380SL that I bought this year. It was incorrectly installed in my vehicle by some knucklehead who did an engine swap. I have since bought the correct one for my car and swapped them out. I can tell you first hand that it works because I have been driving around with it in my engine for several months. I did not use this distributor cap or rotor. The one in the photo came with the used distributor I recently bought for my 1985. The rotor and cap look okay but no assurances. I use my own though they take the same part number. The green ignition lead wire was cut on the one I bought and I just used the existing one on my engine. I put that green one on this distributor purely for aesthetic reasons. You'll need to use the lead on your engine. Item is sold as is.
Will ship to continental US. If you live outside the contiguous U.S., contact me and we'll try to work something out. Will not ship to Indonesia.

But with an announcement by President Raul Castro last week, the strict rules are going to be relaxed a bit, and Cubans and foreign residents now have the right to buy and sell cars made after 1959.
