For sale is a USED Mercedes automatic transmission selector or floor shifter assembly.  This was removed from a 1969 Mercedes 280 SL, but it will also work on other year 113 chassis Mercedes with automatic transmission.  The chrome is pitted and the plastic shifter gate is cracked as shown in the pictures.  We are selling this item as is as pictured.  Stock#062615

But that’s because they’re about the most significant changes Mercedes has wrought to its four-door swoopy coupe. Frankly, there’s not a huge number of cosmetic changes to mark out the 2015 CLS from the 2014 model save for a mildly re-worked front bumper and grill and those new Multibeam LED headlights – standard across the new CLS range.

Mitsubishi to kill current U.S.-made lineup, bring in new platform

Mitsubishi Motors Corp. plans to kill its current lineup of U.S.-made vehicles, including the Eclipse sporty car and Endeavor crossover, over the next three years and switch to producing global vehicles at its Illinois plant, partly to target export markets. The current nameplates will be phased out by 2014 as part of the carmaker's “Jump 2013” mid-term business plan unveiled Thursday by president Osamu Masuko.

Back in the 60s, Toyota launched a few iconic sports cars such as the 800 and the gorgeous 2000 GT. Not happy to have created automotive perfection with the latter, the Japanese brand went on to explore even more extravagant shapes and unveiled the first of the EX concepts series in 1969. While its bold lines are truly Japanese, the EX-1 looked like the missing link between the fast silhouette of a 1967 Maserati Ghibli and the hairy-chested heft of a Dodge Challenger.
