New pictures of the Lagonda SUV Concept have been published by Aston Martin Aston Martin are in the process of attempting to revive the Lagonda marque, and had a bash at the Geneva Motor Show this year with a gargantuan Lagonda SUV based on the Mercedes GL. But it wasn’t well received, which considering how far away it was from how a Lagonda should be is no big surprise. It seemed as if Aston Martin had taken the hint on the Lagonda Concept as it didn’t stay the course at Geneva but was pulled from the AM stand and shipped back to Gaydon.

2014 Land Rover Dicovery 5 to lose more weight than 2013 Range Rover

It appears the next generation Land Rover Discovery is set to shed even more weight that the latest 2013 Range Rover. We know that Land Rover are on a quest to reduce the weight of their offerings, and the all aluminium 2013 Range Rover is the first real evidence with weight drops of up to 420kg for the new 3.0 litre diesel. But it looks like the next generation Land Rover Discovery – which is due in 2014 and will be the Discovery 5 – is going to eclipse even the huge weight loss of the new Range Rover.

MA Transportation Design Program at the Umeå Institute of Design

The Umeå Institute of Design at Umeå University Sweden attracts young design students from all over the world to its two-year Master of Arts degree program in Transportation Design, the first of its kind in the Nordic countries. This year's MA program, for which the Institute is anticipating another talented pool of applicants, is open for registration until the 15th of April. The body of students currently enrolled in the MA Transportation Design program is truly international, with representatives from Brazil, Canada, China, Finland, Ireland, Spain, South Korea, the United Kingdom and Sweden.
