For sale is a used Bosch mechanical fuel injection pump that was removed from a 1969 Mercedes 300 SEL 6.3 109 chassis. The numbers on the metal tags are PES8KL75/120L17X, 903 09424, EP/RLA 1/22 R. We have visually inspected the pump and the rack, cam, and pistons move freely. We are selling this item as is as pictured. Stock#042911.

Sun, 13 Nov 2011The SEAT Altea EV & plug-in SEAT Leon hybrid - testing for the next 4 years Seat may have revealed a pair of cars with ‘eco’ powerplants - the Leon TwinDrive Ecomotive and the Altea XL Electric Ecomotive – but they’re not coming to a showroom near you. Well, not before 2015, anyway. The plan is to build a small prototype fleet of the Leon Hybrid and Altea EV and make them available to local government in Catalonia and Madrid, to get evaluation and real-world feedback before the cars go in to production, which won’t be for at least four years.

As well as the 1.3-litre 75bhp diesel, and 1.4-litre 100bhp petrol, the range will now start with a 1.2-litre 69bhp petrol engine that Fiat had originally said wouldn’t be coming to the UK. A base 1.2-litre in Pop spec will start at just £7900, rising up to £10,700 for a top-level 1.4-litre.
