Type EGE 1.3/12 AR15 Will also fit 300a/b/c. May also fit 300SE, 300SEC, 300SEL with the early W189 3.0 liter motors; but please confirm the applicability. Possible Upgrade for 300S and 300SC which originally used P/N EGD 1.0/12 AR6. Overhauled with New Brushes. Sleeve Bearings and Armature Commutator in excellent condition. Disabled motorsport marshal sets new mobility scooter record
Tue, 20 May 2014A DISABLED motorsport marshal who lost a leg in a terrible accident at the 2000 Goodwood Festival of Speed has set a new world record – on a mobility scooter with punctured tyres. Steve Tarrant, who made a determined recovery and continues to marshal at national and international levels, returned to a dedicated course at Goodwood for the gruelling record attempt in aid of a cancer charity. His effort, after 24 hours and stops only for battery changes on his TGA Breeze S4 GT mobility scooter, he smashed the previous record of 170.63 miles by almost 20, clocking up 190.2 miles.
Pforzheim University - Honda F1 'off track' project
Fri, 19 Sep 2008Students of the Masters in Transportation Design course at Pforzheim University in Germany have been working on a rather special project: to create designs for ‘off-track' cars for Honda's F1 drivers Jenson Button and Rubens Barrichello, incorporating Honda's environmentally conscious fuel-cell technology. Sponsored by Honda R&D Europe, the project has been running for the last three years. This year the vehicles had to be designed with a theme based on a GP host country of each student's choice.
