Babylon, New York, United States
Condition:New

This offering is for a complete set of valves for a Mercedes 621 Diesel.  There are 4 intake and 4 exhaust valves.  They are made in Germany and are in perfect condition.   I bought them years ago to rebuild an engine that was destroyed in Hurricane Sandy before I got to do the overhaul.   They escaped the hurricane because they were stored out of harms way.     I have another set made by ATE/Teves in Germany.  Items weigh 3 pounds.  No handling charge and actual postage cost.

On another auction I'm listing a complete set of 4 Mahle oversized pistons for the same 621 engine.  They are in a 40 thousandths oversize.   Made to fit in an 88 mm bore.  Easier to do than sleeving the block.

See what Milwaukee uses for road de-icing

Mon, 30 Dec 2013

There are a few different ways to make icy roads drivable, including spreading sand and salt on them. Here in Detroit, we use tons and tons (and tons) of rock salt on our crumbling roads in part because we're sitting on unbelievably massive salt deposits. Wisconsin is sitting on massive deposits, too -- of cheese brine.

Vilner reveals BMW 6-series Bullshark

Tue, 26 Nov 2013

Tuning house Vilner is known for their interior coachbuilding work, but their latest effort is something else entirely. Dubbed the Bullshark, this BMW 6-series Coupe has received an almost entirely new exterior courtesy of the company, with just about body panel replaced in the process, save for the doors and the roof. The overall profile of the 6-series coupe is still there, but everything else is almost unrecognizable.

Lamborghini Egoista concept

Mon, 13 May 2013

To celebrate the 50th birthday of Sant'Agata's most famous export, Volkswagen Group Design Director Walter de Silva led a team in the creation of the wild Lamborghini Egoista concept. "I am very attached to this Italian brand, being an Italian myself," said de Silva at its unveiling. "I wanted to pay homage to and think up a vehicle to underline the fact that Lamborghinis have always been made with passion, and with the heart more than the head." This single-seat, V10-powered sportscar – with Alessandro Dambrisio responsible for its exterior design and Stefan Sielaff its interior – is an extreme interpretation of the faceted aesthetic introduced by the 2007 Reventón and last seen on the Veneno shown earlier this year at the Geneva motor show.
