Item Description: This is a brand-new, never used tool. It is designed to press in the radial seal for the torque converter hub into the front pump of the primary pump. Although the WIS only specifies this tool for the front seal in the 722.6 and 722.9 transmission, it also works on the 722.3, 722.5, and possibly other 722.x transmissions which use the same front seal. Additionally, this tool may work to install the rear seal on the 722.5 and 722.6 transmissions. Current MSRP from Mercedes is $97.

New Infiniti DX (Etherea) based on Mercedes platform to be built by Magna Steyr

The new Infiniti DX is to be built in Europe by Magna Steyr It’s reported that Canadian-Austrian specialists Magna Steyr will build the new Infiniti DX Etherea from Mercedes A-Class components. It looks like the plans by Infiniti to build a production model of the Etherea Concept from this year’s Geneva Motor Show are pushing ahead, with reports that Magna Steyr – the Canadian Austrian specialist car builders – tasked with putting together what we expect to be the Infiniti DX. The DX is Infiniti’s big gun in its aim to take 10 per cent of global luxury car sales by 2016.

Aston Martin creates three special-edition DB9s

Aston Martin has designed three special-edition DB9 models named Carbon Black, Quantum Silver and Morning Frost. The Carbon Black and Quantum Silver models are both sport editions with a six-speed Touchtronic II automatic transmission and a remapped sports exhaust that provides a more evocative sound, the automaker said. Both cars come equipped with 19-inch, black 10-spoke wheels, a black grille and graphite tailpipes.
