Audi A4 Avant (2008): first official pictures
Wed, 20 Feb 2008By Mark Nichol First Official Pictures 20 February 2008 09:16 Audi knows where its bread and butter is and continues to stretch its A4 range every which way. So step forward the new A4 Avant, unveiled today. The estate version of the A4 will major on sporty style rather than outright practicality, but the numbers are smaller (less thirsty than the old one) and larger (boot capacity up by 48 litres to 490, 1430 with the seats down) as appropriate. That amount of space doesn’t seem class leading thoughNothing gets past you, does it?
Enterprise will rent you a Harley-Davidson
Wed, 16 Oct 2013If you're in the unenviable position of having to rent a vehicle while traveling, and Hertz's Penske GT Mustangs or dream cars aren't quite your style (or within your budget), you're now able to free yourself from caged drudgery and rent a motorcycle from Enterprise. If you're headed to Las Vegas, at least. Enterprise isn't the first company that will rent you a two-wheeler (Eaglerider, for example, has locations across the globe) but does seem to be the first major auto rental business to diversify into motorcycles.
London motor show 2008 'visitor numbers up 14 percent'
Mon, 04 Aug 2008London motor show 2008: visitor numbers 'up 14 percent', say the show organisers By Tom Richards Motor Shows 04 August 2008 17:52 Official figures for the recent London motor show today reveal a 14 percent increase in visitor numbers. The British International Motor Show at London's Excel arena attracted 472,300 people over the past fortnight. Although that's some way off the initial target of 550,000 visitors, it's a healthy rise on the 2006 event, attended by 415,000 people.
