If you believe that my shipping costs are too high, please contact me through the "Ask the seller a question" section. I sell mostly heavy and/or breakable items. As my feedback indicates, I DO NOT JUST THROW ITEMS INTO A BOX! I use lots of packing paper, lots of bubble wrap and tape and lots of packing around the items. In addition there are labels, ink, tape, etc to purchase !  I spend about alot of time packing to make sure that your item arrives safely. I do not make a profit on shipping. I try to break even. At times, I discover that I have overcharged grossly for shipping, at which time I then send a partial refund for shipping. Before I sold on eBay, I used to think that shipping was outrageous, now I know what packages cost to mail. Please do not bid if you still believe my shipping charges are too high. Thank you!

Tony Williams-Kenny announced as Design Director, SAIC Motor

Wed, 19 Jan 2011

Tony Williams-Kenny has been announced as the new global Design Director of Chinese automaker, SAIC Motor.  During his previous role as Design Director for SAIC Motor, UK, Williams-Kenny worked on various Roewe products, as well as being responsible for designing a new generation of MG models including the MG3, MG6 and MG Zero – the first concept car from the brand since 1985. When interviewed by CDN last year, we asked him how important design is in the company: "For me it's obvious SAIC gets the need for design and the need for a strong brand design relationship," he answered. "We have a really good review group at senior management level too, who actually want to be involved in design reviews and the decision making process." After gaining an MA in Automotive Design and a BA (Hons) in Transport Design from Coventry University in the UK in 1998, Kenny joined Mitsubishi Europe Design in Trebur, Germany as a designer.

Aston Martin adds glamour to Lord Mayor's Show

Tue, 12 Nov 2013

FAMOUS British brand Aston Martin brought some extra glamour to the capital at the weekend as the firm took part in the historic Lord Mayor's Show. A selection of its sports cars joined the three-and-a-half-mile-long cavalcade at the invitation of The Worshipful Company of Coachmakers and Coach Harness Makers of London, which selected Aston Martin to participate in its centenary year. The Aston Martins, which included a Vanquish Coupe dressed in the unmistakable Union Jack-inspired livery of the UK Government’s GREAT Britain campaign, made their way through the capital’s packed streets as an estimated half million spectators looked on.
