Hello Mercedes Cosworth Affectionados!!

Here we have an alternator for the 1987 Mercedes Benz "Cosworth" 190E 16V.  I am not certain about fitment to other MB's but one would assume that this would fit all of the 190E 16V models, however one never can be certain with Mercedes.  This is a Bosch unit, part number AL65X.  That would be the best reference point to determine fitment to any year other than 1987.

This unit came from my personal 16V that i had to part out due to unsalvageable rust.  Therefore i can confidently say that the part has no more than 130,000 miles on it, and may have less if the previous owner of the car had to replace it at some point in its life before i met it.  The alternator functioned perfectly while i had the vehicle on the road.  As to condition the only issues i can see are some rust in the pulley mounting recess, and the aluminum/cardboard corrugated "hose" that encased the wiring disintegrated while i was removing this from the engine.
