These are two cylinder heads for the M156 AMG engine. Both heads have been professional disassembled, cleaned, replaced wear parts and then reassembled. The valves all seal 100%, the stems are straight, new valve stem seals installed and the cam journals all have acceptable wear. Bolts for cam bearings are brand new and haven't been torqued yet so they are ready for their final use. These are 100% ready to go in your next project or repair. M156  Exhaust Left Camshaft   Minimal wear and no pitting on cam lobes, camshaft adjuster included (p/n: 1560503747) P/N: 1560504501 ($760 MSRP)
M156  Inlet Right Camshaft Rust and pitting on lobes, could be refinished, camshaft adjuster included (p/n: 1560503647) P/N: 1560504401 ($760 MSRP)

Today we get the Porsche Boxster S Black Edition. We can but assume that either Porsche has stumbled on a job lot of black paint and leather, or the designer of their limited edition models is going through their dark phase.

Who's Where: Dave Rand resigns from Changan Automobile

Dave Rand, the former General Motors Design Chief, has resigned from the Chinese State-owned automaker after joining the company last October. Rand's resignation, which was made official last week, follows that of his senior at Changan, Ken Ma who stepped down as Vice President of Design earlier this year. It is not clear precisely why both men have decided to leave the Chinese carmaker, but several people familiar with the situation have said that both Rand and Ma's departures are connected with Changan Auto's recent financial difficulties.
