Up until now these auto-brake features have not been rated, but ahead of a new 2014 test that will include AEB systems in its overall safety star scoring, Euro NCAP has put the some of the vehicles already equipped with this technology through their paces. Hyundai halts 2011 Sonata sales because of door glitch

With intense scrutiny bearing down on rival Toyota Motor Corp., Hyundai hopes to quickly and quietly resolve the product glitch on the recently released 2011 Sonata sedan. The Sonata is Hyundai's biggest-volume vehicle, with 2009 sales of 120,028 cars.
