*** I do not have the keys for the roof rack so I had to drill out the locks. The locks only secure the outside Plastic Cover. The rack actually is attached to the Roof Rail using the Allen screws on the bars. The roof rack can be installed without the locks and  the cover will stay fit. Alternatively you can purchase a new set of locks on ebay for about $20 ******

These are  Mercedes-Benz Genuine OEM Roof Rack Basic Carrier Cross Bars for all 2006 through 2011 M-Class models. They came on the 2008 ML I recently bought. I do not have any use for these racks and therefore am selling them. These are in very good condition, No Scratches, Dings, Dents or cracks on the Plastic covers.

Required component for attaching bike racks, ski/snowboard racks and luggage/cargo containers to the top of your Mercedes-Benz. Easy installation. Mounts to pre-existing factory roof rails. Aerodynamic, noise-optimized Mercedes-Benz design. Additional racks, attachments and containers sold separately.

Set of 2 Roof Rack Basic Carrier Cross Bars.

Will fit all 2006 through 2011 M-Class models (W164).

MG6 – A new MG shows at Shanghai

Tue, 21 Apr 2009

The new MG6 is unveiled at Shanghai - coming to the UK in 2010 SAIC bought the rights to Rover when Rover fell apart after its sale by BMW for £10. But they didn’t secure all the rights to the ‘Rover’ name, so we won’t be seeing new Rovers by name, but instead we are to get a Rover 75 based MG – the first new MG launch since the ZS and ZT in 2001. Yesterday SAIC unveiled the new MG6, a sport hatchback based on the Rowe 550 (which is itself based on a shortened wheelbase Rover 75) and its destined to come to the UK next year.
