Rare OEM W111 280se 3.5 grill and insert. This grill came off my 1970 280se 3.5 coupe that I'm currently restoring(refer to the last 2 pictures). As you can see, the grill is in very good condition. I bought a NOS grill and also bought the $1,500 grill insert that was advertised on ebay ,couple months ago.this auction is for the grill and insert only.....(NOT the car). This grill also fits the W111 280se low grill coupe and convertible.Very rare and hard to find item. A damaged/ cracked 3.5 grill sold for 1500 a few months ago.

NB- please DO NOT send me other parts requests for the 280se 3.5 coupe. I am restoring the car ,not parting it out.

Crackdown on bogus claims helps insurance costs fall by 12%

Wed, 23 Oct 2013

CAR INSURANCE premiums have plunged at a record rate of 12% year-on-year amid a tougher clampdown to combat bogus motor accident claims which add to the costs of everyone's policies. The typical quote for annual comprehensive car insurance cover was £568 in October, marking a 4.5% drop on July and a 12.4% fall on a year ago, according to the latest AA Insurance premium index, which takes the average of the five cheapest quotes on the market. This is the biggest annual slide that the AA has on its records, which go back to 1994, and marks a sharp turnaround for motorists following a period of strong increases, with premiums rising by more than 40% just two years ago.
