Mercedes Benz w 116 450SEL 6.9 , 350SEL , 280SEL power rear seat chrome switch frames.  Super hard to find!  These were taken off a 1978 450SEL Euro model and use the standard easy to find rear power window switch to control the rear seat recline function.  The rear power seat assembly in the w116 was very complex, I had planned to add an easy to find w126 rear power seat to my w116 but I sold the car.

Switch frames are in good used condition showing normal wear for a 35 year old part.  If you look very close under bright light there is a bit of pitting present however it is not bad.

Tue, 13 Aug 2013

Nearly 30,000 spectators came to the two-day event in 1957, and race organizers were expecting even more in 1958.

Australian Grand Prix (2010) RESULT

Sun, 28 Mar 2010

The start of the Australian Grand Prix Melbourne-2010 We started to get gripes at the end of last year’s F1 season that our headlines on Grand Prix results gave the game away. Not an overwhelming number of emails – just a steady trickle. But we got loads after our Ferrari One-Two at Bahrain headline at the first F1 Grand Prix of the season, so we’re going to obfuscate the headlines and the sub-header this year, so all of you who’ve stuck the race on Sky+ don’t get it spoilt.

Automotive art returns to Pebble Beach

Wed, 18 May 2011

Classic cars won’t be the only works of art on display at this year’s Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. The Automotive Fine Arts Society (AFAS) will be making its 26th appearance at the event, where it will exhibit car-themed paintings and sculptures. “The artists work every year to showcase art never shown before,” AFAS vice president Bill Motta said.
