Mercedes Benz W124 E Class To 1995 Original Sedan Roof Rack on 2040-parts.com

Condition:Used

I have available for sale an original factory accessory for the Mercedes E class W124 sedan. This was made by a company called Oris and was bought through the dealer.

My item consists of two transverse bars that mount on the roof of the Mercedes Sedan and that feature a channel in which additional Mercedes accessories can attach.

This is made out of Aluminum with plastic endcaps and is in great shape.

The main advantage of the factory roof rack, over the aftermarket ones, is that the factory one has the highest load carrying capability. Together, these two bars can support 100Kilograms, or 220lb.

The item is complete, includes two keys that can be used to secure this in place.

Installation is not difficult and you will be pleasantly surprised to find factory markings on your w124 car, directing you where to position the feet of the rack. Upon opening the door, you will see two triangles stamped into the steel of the upper door chassis opening. Just align the clamp of the rack between these two and you're ready to fasten it.

The rack was initially for Germany, so has German markings on it, to identify the position of each leg:

Vorne Links (left front)

Vorne Rechts (right front)

Hinten Links (rear left)

Hinten Rechts (rear right)

This rack, while being in good shape, has imperfections, which are to be expected for an item manufactures in the early '90's.

Despite this and while I don't provide any warranty, this item has been completely functional under my ownership.

At the same time, this item is very rare, I am selling it because I have traded my beloved W124 Mercedes for a newer one and I need to buy the corresponding rack.

The item is as is, there is no warranty, expert installation is recommended, the sale is final, there are no returns.

Dacia Sandero Stepway: Price from £7,995

Mon, 03 Dec 2012

The third Dacia model for the UK – the Dacia Sandero Stepway – a rugged compact crossover based on the Sandero will cost from £7,995. The Sandero Stepway is a rugged compact crossover – with a higher ride height and bolted on chunky bits - based on the very inexpensive Sandero, so you won’t be shocked to learn that the Sandero Stepway is as inexpensive as its hatch sibling – from only £600 more than the equivalent trim Sandero. Dacia has decided that the Sandero Stepway won’t come in completely stripped-out Access trim – unlike the Sandero and Duster SUV – but the entry level will be the Sandero Stepway Ambience, with a better equipped Stepway Lauréate for those who want a few more home comforts.
