Mitsubishi Outlander GT

The Mitsubishi Outlander GT will show at the New York Motor Show [ad#ad-1] The picture above is the Mitsubishi Outlander GT Concept (which is not a Photoshop mis-hap – just another version of a car maker’s ‘tease’ image, this time blurred). This is Mitsubishi’s efforts to make the Outlander more appealing, and from what we can see it’s taken a design cue from the Lamborghini Reventon, by putting a ‘Stealth Fighter’ nose on the front. Actually, as a blurred image, the front end does look a little reminiscent of the Lagonda Concept we saw at Geneva last month.

Toyota Prius V

Toyota is keen to expand the Prius brand. The company will introduce a multitude of variants in the coming years and the Prius V, unveiled at the 2011 NAIAS, is the first expansion to the family. Retaining the familiar Prius features, the V simply sharpens up elements over the existing sedan.

New Vauxhall Meriva (2010) spotted

But we think it’s a bit of a ringer for the new Kia Venga we saw at Frankfurt last week. Still, there’s a limit to what you can do with a set criteria and a five-seat MPV, so that’s no huge surprise.
