Goodwood Festival of Speed will see the Jaguar XKR Goodwood Special, together with the Bonneville XFR and a trio of Classic Jaguars But ‘OTT’ Jaguars have not been much in evidence for a long time. Nothing loud and wild has come out of Jaguar for as long as we can remember, probably in deference to their customer base, which has always been on the ‘Traditional’ side. But Jaguars lend themselves to some ‘pimping’ and pushing of the boundaries, and Jaguar have decided to do just that with a one-off Jaguar XKR – the Jaguar XKR Goodwood Special.

Last month I returned from my second consecutive Nurburgring 24hr race, so I was excited to be getting my first taste of Le Mans last weekend. Two very similar concepts, yet the endurance races at the Ring and Le Mans differ hugely, and both excite for very different reasons. The Ferrari F12 Berlinetta took its first public bow at the Geneva auto show in February of 2012. Just 20 months later, Car News China has found some leaked drawings of the new version from the Chinese patent office. (China has a patent office?-ED) They speculate it could be the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta GTO.
