Aston Martin to recall nearly 17,000 cars
Tue, 19 Nov 2013Aston Martin has announced it is to recall 16,825 cars globally to rectify an issue that has emerged with the throttle pedal of its cars. Models built between November 2007 and October 2013 will be recalled, the firm says, because they “may exhibit a defect in the throttle pedal”. Mead's work is shown in chronological order, starting from 1957's Bugatti concept and tracking his progression all the way up to 2010's Megacoach. Highly influential futurist Mead graduated with distinction from the Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles in 1959, beginning his career at Ford's Advanced Styling Studio in Dearborn, Michigan, before establishing Syd Mead, Inc.
Hyundai lures Toyota's Michael O'Brien to head U.S. product planning
