Mercedes Benz 220s  SET OF 2 WIPER ARMS, BLADE, COMPLETE ASSEMBLY.  Parts came with a box of parts from a 1958 Mercedes 220SE, but this will fit a number of other models. Parts are in very good condition. I installed fresh rubber strips from some recently purchased Bosch blades, and retrofitted them into these original Windshield Wipers. One of the blades has a cotter pin installed to ensure the lock stays in place.  These are original Mercedes Benz parts, and the wiper blade holders say "Made in Germany" too. Very expensive to replace. The arms alone sell for $190 each without the blade assemblies! See my other Mercedes parts, too.  W180 Ponton 180 190 220 220s 220se W105 W120 W121 W128 190SL

Nissan Qashqai+2 (2008): first official pictures

Mon, 07 Apr 2008

By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 07 April 2008 08:54 We’ve heard of 2+2s before, but Nissan is taking this numbers game to a whole new level with the Qashqai+2. As its name suggests, this is a slightly bigger version of the crossover with seven seats, up from the regular car’s five.CAR Online scooped the super-sized Qashqai last year, so it comes as no surprise. Nissan has stretched the wheelbase by 135mm to free up the extra space for a third row of seats, which fold flat when not needed.

Next generation BMW 6 Series Preview

Thu, 26 Feb 2009

Rendering of the next generation (2010) BMW 6 Series - a sleeker and lower car than the current generation Not due until late 2010, the next generation 6 Series looks set to be a lower, sleeker car than the current model. In fact, it looks like BMW may have found a use for a lot of the work they did on the shelved BMW CS project, which was to be BMW’s A7/CLS challenger until the project was shelved a few months ago. Current opinion is that the next generation Convertible will stick with the rag-top, but recent spy shots seem to show a pretty bulky roof camouflage, leading to speculation that BMW may go the folding tin-top roof with the next generation 6-series.

Union calls on Nissan to recognise workers

Thu, 09 Jan 2014

Nissan must surely be on the crest of a wave right now, celebrating its success at the 2014 What Car? awards, where it picked up the reader’s choice prize for the next generation X-Trail, and saw the all-new Qashqai take both the small SUV and the overall Car of the Year trophy. It’s also just announced that its Sunderland plant – where the old and now the new Qashqai are assembled – has built over a million vehicles in the last two years.
