Item Description: This is a used Mercedes cruise control module part number 023-545-21-32. This unit replaces the older modules 016-545-77-32, 014-545-40-32, and 005-545-05-32. Part number 023-545-21-32 is the newest version of the cruise control module, current list price from Mercedes is $550. 


Please note: This module is only a direct replacement for an existing 023-545-21-32 or  016-545-77-32 module. If you are replacing an existing 014-545-40-32 or 005-545-05-32 module (used in the late 1980's and early 1990's), you MUST remove wire #14 from the female connector on the car's wiring harness, otherwise the cruise control will not function. 

Also, if replacing an older module 004-xxx-xx-xx or 003-xxx-xx-xx, an additional coding resistor is required. If you are not sure if this unit works for your car, please send me the year & model of your car (or better yet, the VIN) and I can confirm if it will work or not.

General Motors has dismissed 15 employees, including at least eight executives, after an internal investigation found “a pattern of incompetence and neglect” that led to 11 years of delays in recalling millions of cars for a fatal defect, CEO Mary Barra said today. Barra promised that the company would address future safety issues far differently, warning employees that failing to report risks would make them “part of the problem” and even inviting them to contact her directly if they couldn't get potential defects addressed themselves.

The Fiesta sedan, which goes on sale this summer, starts at $13,995, including shipping. The Fiesta, with a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine and a six-speed transmission, gets 40 mpg on the highway.
