Will this Datsun crossover concept be a new Nissan CUV?

Thu, 23 Jan 2014

We've heard a lot about Datsun in the past few months. The defunct-but-returning brand was part of the inspiration for the Nissan IDx concepts seen at the Detroit auto show, but Nissan has been talking about selling cars under the Datsun brand in developing markets like India, Russia and Indonesia since last July. The company released a concept sketch on Wednesday of a small people carrier, set to debut at the Delhi Auto Expo in February.

Hybrid owners sue Ford over Fusion, C-Max mpg claims

Wed, 24 Apr 2013

Pennsylvania car owners are suing Ford Motor Co., claiming that the 2013 Fusion hybrid and C-Max hybrid are not delivering on promised fuel-efficiency figures, according to a report from Bloomberg. Both hybrid models are advertised to return 47 mpg, but the owners say that number is inflated to seem more competitive among other midsize sedans, according to their court filing. The complaint says car owners who have submitted estimates to a fuel-economy tracking website averaged 38.5 mpg, a 10-mpg difference that can cost an additional $1,800 in fuel costs over five years, Bloomberg reports.

Wed, 23 Jul 2008

By James Foxall and CAR reader reporter Jacomoseven Motor Shows 23 July 2008 01:43 Lotus will call its new 'Project Eagle' 2+2 sports car the Evora, it announced today at the London motor show. What’s new on Lotus’s London motor show stand?Pulling in crowds of expectant photographers and cameramen like you get at Europe's upper-echelon motor shows, the launch of the Evora gave this motor show a feeling of old-school glamour, not seen at a British expo for the past decade.
