Mercedes factory replacement transmission: R-DOT sticker on the bellhousing, the serial number 124 with the remainder of the serial number boss being machined flat, and short input shaft indicates this replacement transmission was designated for a late 80's 300e/300ce (w124 chassis).
The transmission has the following ratios: R - 4.25 1 - 3.91 (this is a 717.411 ratio) 2 - 2.18 (this is a 717.430/.435 ratio) 3 - 1.38 (.430/.435 ratio) 4 - 1 5 - 0.78 (.411 ratio) This does not have the notoriously weak 717.411 3rd gear, if you're looking for a transmission that will handle the extra power of a modified engine. This transmission will mate to any inline M10x or OM60x engine, using a single-mass flywheel. It was previously used in a manual transmission swap in a 190d. Includes the shifter (fits 300 or 190), and driveshafts for a 190 (not pictured). Shipping: transmission and parts will be crated and shipped via freight. Buyer responsible for shipping costs.
