Mercedes- Benz W110, W111, W112 Heckflosse sedan Front Windshield.
This is an aftermarket CLEAR Front windshield. This came off a 1964 220Sb, a California Car. This fits all Heckflosse sedans from 1959 all the way through 1968: 190c, 190Dc, 200, 200D, 220b, 220Sb, 220SEb, 230, 230S & 300SE , 300SE long, - European as well as US version. The windshield is very clean, no streaks or scratches, a couple of very small pits. THERE IS SLIGHT DE-LAMINATION ON THE TOP EDGE, COVERED BY/UNDER THE SEAL, SO HARDLY NOTICEABLE WHEN INSTALLED. It comes with the used rubber seal in excellent pliable condition ($75 value) and the chrome trim sitting inside the seal ($35 value). I ALSO HAVE A TINTED AFTERMARKET W111 SEDAN WINDSHIELD AVAILABLE. Due to the fragile nature of this item, I really prefer pick up or delivery (for a small fee) within Southern California is a possibility. If I ship this, I insist on insurance. Digital repreive for drivers as FM switch-off postponed
Tue, 24 Dec 2013MILLIONS OF CAR OWNERS have been saved from missing out on listening to the radio in their cars as the Government has delayed switching off FM transmitters in favour of digital radio. The move comes as the Government admits that more needs to be done to convince radio users to switch to DAB digital radio instead of sticking with FM. Ed Vaizey, the communications minister, said: ‘We have to support digital radio, but we also respect people’s passion for radio and not being made to do something they don’t want to.’ At present, digital radio accounts for about a third (36.5%) of all radio listening, but take up has been lower among car drivers who are used to FM.
