You are bidding on a Rare 1960s or 70s Pair of License Plate Frames from the
Mercedes Stahl Motor Co. dealership in Monterey, California.
 
There auction includes one PAIR (front & rear) License Plate Frames.
They are in Great / possibly NOS condition, there are no cracks and they are very straight,
the chrome is also like new (perfect for a restored car or good driver) and the blue paint is
very nice (but the front plate has 2 darker blue spots). Please look at all the photos for
condition and contact me if you have any questions.

Design Contest: 2004 Motor Trend International Design Contest winners announced

Nov 2, 2004 - The winners of the 2004 Motor Trend International Design Contest were announced during Media Day at the California International Auto Show (CIAS) held in Anaheim. Top honors were awarded to Guilherme Albuquerque Knop (26) from Parana, Brazil. Guilherme received the award for best of show and a cash prize of $2,500 for his design of an Armani/ Transport.

Gurney cars lead record list of entries at Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion

The acceptance letters went out this week for the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion, the vintage racing weekend formerly known as the Monterey Historics, and it looks as if you'll get your money's worth out of this year's event. While previous years usually featured about 400 or so cars, the 2010 running of the renamed Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion, managed now by SCRAMP, will feature 520 vintage entries. Leading the pack is what promises to be a once-in-a-lifetime collection of 35 cars either designed, built or raced by the great Dan Gurney, this year's honoree.

Harley-Davidson to shutter Buell motorcycle brand, will sell Italian division

Harley-Davidson is axing two notable brands as it refocuses on its core business. The iconic American motorcycle producer said on Thursday that it will kill the 26-year-old Buell brand and will sell recently acquired Italian motorcycle company MV Agusta. The announcement came as Harley revealed its third-quarter financial results, which saw its earnings and sales slip as it deals with the global economic conditions.
