This is a good, functioning EZL ignition module that works with late production 4.2L Mercedes M119.97x engine with LH electronic fuel injection, as detailed below. This EZL has been tested on my personal car... the engine starts & runs fine with it installed. All previous DTC's (diagnostic trouble codes) have been cleared/reset; this unit
is ready for installation on your car. I guarantee the unit is not DOA, but there is no warranty otherwise. The current list price on this unit from Mercedes is $1500 USD, and approximately $1200 wholesale. This module will work with the following vehicles only:
- 124 chassis: 1993 400E, 1994-1995 E420 - As of chassis number B965057 (see exceptions in photos below)
- 140 chassis: 1992-1993 400SE & 400SEL, 1994-1995 S420 - As of chassis number A135976 (see exceptions in photos below)

Top international design talent to descend on Czech Republic for AutoDesign Prague 2013
Wed, 14 Aug 2013The automotive design industry will head to Prague on 26 September to speak at the AutoDesign Prague 2013 conference at the National Technical Library. Now entering its third year, the one-day conference – organized by AutoDesign and Styling magazine – will be followed by a workshop the next day, which will focus on techniques including sketching and clay and 3D modeling. The speakers and presentation topics haven't been announced yet but last year's conference featured speakers such as Dassault Systèmes' vice president Design Experience Anne Asensio, while the 2011 edition saw presentations by speakers including Fabio Filippini, Pininfarina's vice president design and chief creative officer, and Peter Horbury, then-vice president of design at Volvo.
Maserati to build new Alfa Romeo car
Fri, 13 Apr 2012Maserati, Fiat Group's luxury sports car brand, will build Alfa Romeo's new halo model, according to company sources. The car is a rear-wheel-drive coupe named the 4C. Fiat said April 12 that Maserati will build a new vehicle for Alfa in Modena, Italy, starting in May 2013, with a forecast annual production of up to 2,500 units.
