Finally--after a slew of teasers, spy shots and other temptations--pictures of the much-anticipated Mini Cooper coupe in full production trim were released on Monday. The coupe is the first two-seat Mini since the brand relaunched in the United States. It will be offered with three four-cylinder engine choices, topped by a 208-hp John Cooper Works model.

Chrysler and Lancia brands to share products in Europe

Fiat S.p.A. aims to integrate the Chrysler brand more closely with the Italian automaker's upscale Lancia marque in Europe with the two brands likely to share products from small hatchbacks to large sedans. The appointment of Lancia CEO Olivier Francois as Chrysler brand boss is a step toward the goal, a Fiat source said.
