Up for sale is a used but tested and in excellent physical and mechanical condition Mercedes Parktronic assist control module. It was removed from a 2002 ML320 with 61K miles. The car was wrecked and totalled by the insurance company. This module comes with a 60 day gaurantee. The part number is A 163 545 74 32. Bosch number is 0 263 004 040. It will fit many years and models.  Make sure this is the part you need. It may need to be programmed at your dealer. Check with your dealer or mechanic for compatibility with other years and models.

Porsche buys Nardo for high-speed tests

Porsche has announced it is to take ownership of the famous Nardo Proving Ground in southern Italy. The company's engineering consultancy wing, the Porsche Engineering Group, will assume ownership as of May 2012. Nardo is currently owned by Italian firm Prototipo SpA.  No fee has been disclosed by either party.

The McLaren P11 has now been named - it will be the McLaren MP4-12C Update 9/9/09: McLaren has now released full details and pictures of the McLaren MP4-12C Update 10/0/09: Ron Dennis talks about the MP4-12c and McLaren Automotive’s future plans. But of course it’s about McLaren history, and more than a passing nod to its F1 heritage. The McLaren F1 cars are all dubbed MP4, but I think we’d prefer to have seen something like McLaren F2.
