Original Lot of 3 Chrome Interior Door Handle Escutcheons for Mercedes Ponton W120 and W121 Series, 180 and 190 cars Either re-chromed over very poor cores, or just badly executed. Cores have grinding marks and pitting under the thick shiney chrome, and there may be a few new spots popping up. Came from a 1958 190 we are parting out, where all of the chrome was re-done, then packed away in boxes for the last 20+ years. Use these as-is, or try to re-chrome again. College Exhibition: Coventry University Degree Show 2007
Wed, 27 Jun 2007Undergraduate students from Coventry University's Transportation Design program had their initial show in the end of May this year, but the range of projects was so vast that a selection of work from the annual degree show was then chosen and displayed in Coventry Transport Museum on June 15. Car Design News was there to see what had been selected. Inspired by the Alfa BT4B with which Niki Lauda won the Swedish Formula One Grand Prix in 1978, Stephan Everwin created a modern interpretation of the 'Fan Car'. Its rakish lines all culminate in a smooth aerodynamic shape that incorporates a huge fan between the rear wheels creating a massive vacuum under the car providing downforce at high speed.

Well, the pair shared the same rotating plinth on Citroen’s stand but that’s about it. Whereas the Revolte concept (revealed at the 2009 Frankfurt motor show) was a plug-in hybrid supermini, the Survolt is an all-electric sports car.
Hongik University wins 2011 Ferrari World Design Contest
Tue, 19 Jul 2011Seoul's Hongik University scooped first place honors in the 2011 Ferrari World Design Contest. 50 highly prestigious universities developed designs for Ferrari's cars of the future, and students from the Korean school beat the second-placed Istituto Europeo di Design (IED) of Turin, Italy, in the final while London's Royal College of Arts (RCA) finished in third place. The ‘Eternità', developed by Kim Cheong Ju, Ahn Dre and Lee Sahngseok, was the winning design for Hongik University, while Azerbaijan's Samir Sadikhov, studying at IED, earned him second place with the ‘Xezri'.
