Mercedes Benz Power Steering Reservoir O-Ring Gasket Seal

Product Description:  This o-ring style gasket is located between the power steering fluid reservoir and the power steering pump of many Mercedes Benz applications from 1993 - 2010.  It's a common culprit if you notice a fluid leak in the area between the fluid reservoir and pump.  The old gasket typically becomes hard and brittle over time, giving rise to leaks.  As shown in the photos, the gasket dimensions are: 20.5mm (OD) x 15.5mm (ID) x 4.0mm (thickness). Photo #s 6 & 7 show the location on the reservoir where the o-ring will be installed.  Note, this listing is for the o-ring only -- the reservoir is NOT included.

Tech Notes:  This gasket fits on the metal nipple of the power steering pump, where it connects to the reservoir (at the lower, rear portion of the reservoir - see photo #s 6 and 7 in this listing). There is a "circlip" which secures the connection. To separate the reservoir from the pump to replace the gasket, that clip needs to be removed and reinstalled. No sealant is necessary when installing the new gasket.  Be sure the connecting junction is clean and free of any debris prior to installation.

Applications: This power steering reservoir o-ring gasket seal fits many Mercedes applications from 1993-2010, including the ML320, ML350, ML430, ML500, E-class, C-class, and S-class, SLK, CLK, and more.  Please refer to the compatibility guide in this listing.  If you would like additional assistance with part fitment / compatibility, or to verify information contained in the compatibility guide, please email or call us at (209) 951-3761.

But now the Web is awash in reports from a Porsche dealer meeting in Germany where the company revealed the even-hotter GT2 RS. Reportedly pushing 620 hp from its turbocharged boxer-six engine, the track- and street-legal GT2 RS is said to be 200 pounds lighter than the GT2.

Audi RS3 (2010) first official pictures

Mon, 22 Nov 2010

Audi has today published its first official pictures of the much-scooped RS3 Sportback. As we predicted, the RS3 adopts the 2.5-litre five-cylinder engine from the TT RS. With 335bhp on tap Audi can, for now at least, stake a claim to the hot hatch top trumps.  Of course.
