Mercedes Sl Console (r107) Switch Panel on 2040-parts.com

Location:

Seattle, Washington, United States
Condition:Used

This has been living on my parts shelf for a few years.  My original console needed a refresh and I was going to use this when I did the job.  I got lucky the other day and found one in the factory color, so I dog not need to repaint this one.

Camel in color with the window and hazard switches.  There is some wear on the panel.  The bolt holes at the top are missing.  The rubber shift surround is worn, and there is a ding in the passenger side.  The retaining knob at the bottom is intact.

I have not tested the switches for function.  They look to be good condition.  Might want some contact cleaner or sprucing up to be sure.  Switches are as is.

Last week, we got all patriotic with a couple of classic American muscle cars, and that just whetted our appetite for cars that were smaller and more, you know, German. We gave you a tough choice between a couple of air-cooled Volkswagens not long ago, but this time we're interested in German marques that disappeared in the 1960s: NSU and Borgward.
