2014 Lexus CT 200h Facelift to debut at Guangzhou Motor Show Remarkably, the Lexus CT 200h arrived as a ‘baby’ Lexus more than three years ago at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show, so it’s time for a bit of a facelift. That facelift for the 2014 model year will debut next week, not at the big shows in Tokyo or Los Angeles but at China’s Guangzhou Motor Show before going on sale as the 2014 Lexus CT 200h. Lexus aren’t telling us what they’ve done under the skin of the CT 200h – if anything – but the new CT 200h does finally get the new Lexus spindle grill to make it a full-fledged member of Lexus’s modern family.

Established in 1964, the European Car of the Year award was set up to celebrate a “single, decisive winner” each year among all new cars in Europe. So, now running into its fiftieth year, the shortlist for the landmark half-century award for the European Car of the Year 2014 has been announced. SUPERCAR specialist Lamborghini has finally taken the wraps off the replacement for the long-serving Gallardo. Called the Huracán, its looks might follow the same winning formula as the car it replaces, but its performance statistics blow the old car into the weeds. With a new V10 engine packing a mighty 602bhp punch, the Huracán has been tipped for a top speed ‘faster than 202mph’.
